A non-denominational museum of art featuring works of art with a Biblical theme. It
was founder Mattie Caruth Byrd's inspiration and dream to provide a place where people of
faiths can have the opportunity to witness the Bible as it inspires mankind in the arts.
The museum features permanent and changing exhibition galleries, a life-size
replica of the Garden Tomb of Christ, and one of the world's largest oil paintings, The
Miracle at Pentecost. The 124' x 20' painting is shown with a dramatic 30-minute
light and sound show each day at half-past the hour. |
